WHAT EVERY MEMBERSHIP VISIT COVERS

  • Recurring Schedule

Visits pre-scheduled on your calendar. We contact you before each appointment. No phone tag required.

  • Full 20-Point Tune-Up

Lubrication, hardware tightening, spring tension adjustment, track cleaning, sensor calibration. Same service every visit.

  • Parts Discount

15 to 20 percent off all repair parts ordered during a membership visit. Applies to springs, cables, rollers, and opener components.

  • Service Log

Written record of every visit: work performed, parts installed, wear items to monitor. Useful for home sales and insurance.

HOW THE MEMBERSHIP WORKS

  1. Call or Request a Quote

Tell us your door type, address, and how many doors you want covered. We quote all four plan options within a few minutes.

  2. Pick Your Service Window

Choose the month or season that works best. Spring before Texas heat arrives and fall before winter cold snaps are the most popular windows.

  3. First Visit: Inspection and Tune-Up

Technician runs the full 20-point inspection, performs all adjustments and lubrication, and documents the starting condition of your door.

  4. Automatic Reminder Before Each Visit

We contact you 2 to 3 weeks before your next scheduled visit to confirm the date. You do not need to keep track.

  5. Service Report After Every Visit

Written summary of work performed, parts discount applied to any repairs, and wear items flagged for the next visit.

ONE-TIME VISIT VS. MEMBERSHIP

Paying Per Visit Costs More Over Time.

A single Full Annual Tune-Up runs 149 dollars. Two visits over two years is 298 dollars at pay-per-visit rates. The 2-year membership is 249 dollars total, 49 dollars less, and that is before any parts discounts apply. Most Texas homeowners who use their parts discount even once on rollers or weatherstripping recover the full membership cost in that single repair.

The second problem with pay-per-visit is the reminder gap. You need to remember to call. Central Texas garage doors go through 1,000 to 1,500 open-close cycles per year. Summer heat between 100 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit accelerates lubricant evaporation and stresses torsion spring coils. A door that was serviced in May and not touched again until the following May is 12 months without lubrication. Membership eliminates that gap.

Torsion spring adjustment is the task that earns a licensed technician. Springs operate under 150 to 200 pounds of stored energy. Adjusting them without winding bars and training causes injury. Every membership visit includes this adjustment as standard, not an add-on. A 3-year member who needs spring work during a visit pays the member parts rate, not a separate service call fee.

  • Priority scheduling over non-members for all plan tiers
  • 15 to 20 percent off parts, applied at point of service
  • Transferable to a new Texas address or to a home buyer
  • 90-day workmanship warranty on all adjustments performed each visit

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

We signed up two years ago after paying for a spring repair and realizing we had never once serviced the door in eight years. The membership auto-reminder is the part I like most. I get a text in April, they come out, done. Last visit they caught a cable that was starting to fray. Fixed it at the member rate and we paid maybe half what we would have paid if it had snapped.

MEMBERSHIP PLAN FAQ

What is the difference between a one-time tune-up and a maintenance membership?

A one-time tune-up covers that visit: lubrication, hardware tightening, spring tension adjustment, and safety testing. A membership pre-schedules the same service on a set calendar across one, two, or three years, includes a 15 to 20 percent parts discount on any repair work ordered during a membership visit, and gives you priority scheduling over non-members. The maintenance work itself is identical. The structure around it is what differs.

How does the automatic scheduling work?

When you sign a membership, we record your preferred service window, which is typically a specific month or season, and we contact you 2 to 3 weeks before each scheduled visit to confirm the date. You do not need to remember to call. The contact comes by phone or text, whichever you prefer. If your schedule changes, you can move the visit by up to 60 days without losing the membership credit.

What is the Door Plus Opener Plan, and who is it for?

The Door Plus Opener Plan combines the annual garage door tune-up with an annual check of your opener: drive system tension, limit switch calibration, force settings, remote reprogramming if needed, and motor mount inspection. It is designed for Texas homes that experience heavy use, four or more cycles per day, or homes over 10 years old where both the door hardware and the opener are approaching the point where maintenance costs exceed replacement costs. The plan is priced at 299 dollars per year and includes a 20 percent parts discount on all repair work.

Can I add a locksmith service to my garage door membership?

Yes. Members who add a locksmith service, rekeying or deadbolt inspection, receive the combined service at a discounted rate. Austin homes on Barton Hills, Zilker, and Clarksville often bundle the garage door membership with a front door hardware check because both use the same scheduled visit window. Ask when you schedule your first visit and we will quote the combined rate.

Do you serve Round Rock, Georgetown, and other Austin suburbs on membership plans?

Yes. Membership plans cover all 36 Texas markets we serve, including Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Leander, Kyle, Buda, and San Marcos. Dispatch from our Central Austin hub reaches most Central Texas locations within the same scheduling windows. MoPac and I-35 routing is factored into our dispatch. Call and we confirm your service address and next available window immediately.

What happens if my door needs a repair during a membership visit?

The technician documents any worn or failing components as part of the standard 20-point inspection. If you approve the repair that same visit, membership pricing applies: 15 percent off parts for 2-year members, 20 percent off for 3-year and Door Plus Opener members. If you prefer to schedule a return visit, the discount applies to that visit as well, as long as it falls within your active membership period. Approval is always required before any work beyond the standard tune-up begins.

How much does a garage door membership plan cost compared to paying per visit?

A single tune-up visit runs 149 dollars for the Full Annual Tune-Up package. The 2-year membership costs 249 dollars total, or 124.50 dollars per visit, a savings of 49 dollars over two years before any parts discounts. The 3-year membership costs 329 dollars total, or approximately 110 dollars per visit, a savings of 118 dollars over three years. Members who use their parts discount even once typically recover the full membership cost in that single repair.

Can I cancel or transfer my membership?

Memberships are transferable to a new Texas address if you move within our 36-city service area. If you sell your home, you may also transfer the membership to the new owner, which can be a useful selling point. Cancellations receive a prorated refund for undelivered visits minus a 25-dollar administrative fee. There are no cancellation penalties for the first 30 days.
