It sucks they charge an inconvenience fee of 49.00. Which I wish you would have mentioned this on our intial call. Transparency would have been to say hey we charge an inconvenience fee. Never once was this mentioned. When we spoke with the representative all she said was the locksmith will call you with a price. Never once did she say we take your payment info so we can charge you an inconvenience fee. If that was mentioned then this would have been handled differently. She made it seem like we need a card on file to help. Then they attempted to debit my card twice for two separate transactions for 49.00. I understand you run a business. But transparency is key. I specifically asked her what I would be charged for never once did she mention this. Lesson learned. Update***she reached out in regards to my Google review. Although I attempted to resolve per phone call. Shameless.

I have been a customer of pros on call for like over 2 years about and have had to call on them about 6 times. I had Zach come out to the property that I purchased out in Luling, Texas. It’s about 10 acres, and it has a garage with a corroded lock. Out of all the companies I have called, which is roughly 5 to 6. He was able to take my call, head out the next day, and take care of the corroded lock I need fixed on my property. My car backed into the garage door and bent the track. What happens next?
Vehicle impact typically bends one or both vertical tracks at the point of contact. We assess the damage on-site. A moderately bent section can be straightened with the right tools. Severe bends require track section replacement. We carry standard-gauge residential track sections on every vehicle. Most impact repairs are completed same visit, with door fully functional before we leave.
A kid hit the track with a bike. Is that repairable without full replacement?
Usually yes. A bike impact tends to dent or kink the vertical track near the bottom rather than crushing it. If the track steel is intact and the bend is isolated, we straighten it on-site. If the section is split or the mounting bracket is sheared, we replace that section only - not the full track. We quote the exact scope before touching anything.
How do I know if my track is just loose or actually bent?
Loose mounting bolts cause the track to shift slightly, producing a grinding or scraping sound but the door still travels its full range. A bent track produces a hard stop - the door jams at the same spot every cycle, or rollers visibly jump out of the channel. If you can see a gap between a roller and the track wall during normal operation, the track needs attention, whether loose or bent.
My Austin home's horizontal track is rusty. Do I need to replace it?
Surface rust on horizontal tracks is common in Central Texas. Hill Country humidity and the rare hard freeze accelerate oxidation on steel tracks. Light surface rust that has not pitted the metal does not affect function and can be treated with a wire brush and silicone-based lubricant. Deep pitting or rust that has eaten through the track wall requires section replacement. We assess on-site and give you an honest recommendation.
